About Greg
In 1967 Greg Stock, at the age of 16, dropped out of high school, grabbed his pack and headed to Europe. Why not get started now, he thought? After all, he had a seat at Johns Hopkins University waiting for him in the Fall and an urgent desire to leave home. More importantly, he had a few questions about the world that wanted for answers.
His decision led to a fateful journey of more than 30 years of groundbreaking inquiry that demonstrates the transformative power of questions to define us, our personal relationships, our communities, our connection with nature, and our future.
Greg’s work represents a deep exploration into what it means to be human in the 21st century.
Over the course of a career as a scientist, writer, and speaker he has developed the foremost paradigm for personal inquiries into values and beliefs. An inquiry with significant implications for humankind as it faces the profound developments ushered in by the silicon and biotech revolutions.
Today Greg serves as an expert speaker and advisor to biotech and health care companies and non-profits working on the cutting edge of human health. His current focus, a new venture launching in 2019, promises to put the power of questions into the hands of people all over the world.
